Whenever I visit Thuan Phat Supermarket, it's usually for something very specific--SkyFlakes! They're similar to saltine crackers but crispier, and I absolutely love them. This market is my go-to spot to stock up. Beyond my cracker obsession, this is a great place if you're looking for authentic Asian grocery items. They've got a wide selection and unique finds you won't get at your typical grocery store. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Sometimes the live dungenous crab is a great price at 4.99/pound. Though, the last times I saw these prices were in 2024. They have a pretty decent selection of Asian condiments, though didn't have LGM chili crisp on my visit in Feb 2025.
This place has all your viet food needs in the San Diego area. Coming from OC, I feel the selection is similar to what you would find in garden grove/westminster. Yah, the customer service in the meat and fish dept is lacking, but if you go to these type of markets you should already know what to expect. It's not going to be sprouts or anything.
We always come here for fresh seafood! Love the service as they are accommodating. Ambiance is whatbyou would expects in an asian grocery. Love the things we see that are not on other groceries.
I absolutely love this market. I drive down here from Carlsbad at least once a month. Great selection of everything Asian! My son is Vegan and they have a really great frozen section plus the dry goods for Vegans as well... just the best place! Highly recommend
This place has a vast selection of fresh produce, meats, and specialty items that are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Found this place by accident, and was super shocked on how massive this Asian store was. Lots of Vietnamese and Chinese products as well as some Filipino, Japanese, and Korean. Lots of nice fruits, veggies, and seafood. For sure will come back when I need to purchase a lot of Asian items.
